I absolutely love the fall season — the cozy sweaters, the spooky vibes, and the perfect weather for playful adventures with our four-legged friends.

ARIES (Mar 21 - Apr 19)

Aries pups are full of energy and curiosity! Extra exercise and mentally stimulating walks will go a long way and our walkers are prepared to channel that fiery spirit into safe, structured fun! Whether it’s a walk through your neighbourhood park or an adventure hike at Island Lake trails, we will help them burn off those zoomies!

Aries Costume Idea: Werewolf

TAURUS (Apr 20 - May 20)

Your Taurus pup is more laid-back and enjoys a sensory rich walk filled with time to pause and soak in the Fall air. It's all about stopping to sniff everything, not leaving a single leaf unturned!

Your pup may also enjoy a detour to a dog friendly patio! Greystones Café and Bluebird café and grill are 2 of my favs (and a lot of local dog favs too!). Bluebird Café and Grill even has a whole dog menu! How neat is that!?

While they are not the fastest movers, they strive on routine and long, peaceful strolls on their favourite routes. They also strive on food, and lots of it!!

We know their fav rocks to sniff, fav tree to relax under and fav spot for scratches!

Taurus Costume Idea: Pumpkin or Turkey

GEMINI (May 21 - Jun 20)

Gemini dogs are full of energy and curiosity this month! They’ll want to say hello to every trick-or-treater, bark at ghosts, and maybe take a visit to the Orangeville Farmers Market!

We’ll keep things fun by switching up their walk with new routes and fresh sniffs — perfect for their playful, social spirit!

Gemini Costume Idea: Bat (or two-headed dog!! For the Harry Potter lover… aka me! And for the classic gemini fashion).

CANCER (Jun 21 - Jul 22)

Cancer pups are in full cozy mode this spooky season!  They’d rather stay bundled up like a burrito on the couch, watching Halloween movies with you than venture out into the chilly air (a good spooky movie - Nightmare Before Christmas – your dog can say hi to Jack Skellington!) But when they do head out, they love a slow, peaceful stroll — perfect for crunching leaves and sniffing pumpkins.

We’ll keep their walks short and sweet, and add in some gentle indoor play to help them stay active and happy — all at their own comfy pace.

Cancer Costume Idea: Ghost… or Cupid

LEO (Jul 23 - Aug 22)

October is Leo season — these confident pups were made for costume contests! Whether your Leo dog sports a cute pumpkin bandana or a full bat-dog outfit, they’re ready to show off their style at Orangeville’s Boo on Broadway or April Vets and Biota Pet Care’s Halloween Costume Contest!! Win some great prizes by sending photos in of your pup (or kitty) in his Halloween get-up.

We’ll tailor their walks to match their bold, playful energy — with lots of chances to strut, explore new spots, and meet fans around the neighbourhood.

Leo Costume Idea: Lion, or a rockstar!

VIRGO (Aug 23 - Sept 22)

This October tour Virgo pup is all about routine, mindfulness and calm strolls at a grounded pace that feeds their analytical soul.

Virgo pups may have a bit of internalized stress from fall inflatable decorations or spooky costumes scaring them so we’ll provide lots of calming words, structure and even a mid-walk pause to admire the fall colours (or squirrels, if that’s their thing!)

Virgo Costume Idea: Spider, or a Doctor

LIBRA (Sept 23 - Oct 22)

Libra pups are all about neighbourhood diplomacy.  They are the friendly face of the block, always wagging their tails and greeting others with a little bark! Of course they have to check and make sure their street is ready for Fall - pumpkins out, Halloween decor up!

Your Libra balance is contagious — and we’re just here to make sure you have the time, space, and support to keep the block running smoothly.

Libra costume Idea: Hot Dog or a Yogi

SCORPIO (Oct 23 - Nov 21)

Scorpio pups - this is your season!

This October, your energy is intense, mysterious, and deeply magnetic — so we’re tailoring your walks accordingly. Expect brisk, focused routes that let you channel that passion into purpose. We’ll keep distractions minimal and energy high! And of course we will always take advantage of any photo ops when the scenery is spooky and perfect!

Scorpio Costume Ideas: Witch, wizard or warlock!

SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22 - Dec 21)

Sagittarius pups are ready to act like the trailblazing explorer they were born to be!

You’re not here for the same old sidewalk strolls. No, no — you want new trails to conquer, and mysterious smells to track deep in the woods. So, we’re answering the call with tailor-made Adventure Hikes just for you. Explore Mono Cliffs or Monora Park!

Sagittarius Costume Idea: Mummy, also rockstar (again… those fire signs I tell ya!)

CAPRICORN (Dec 22 - Jan 19)

Capricorn pup, you’re approaching October the only way you know how — with focus, discipline, and absolutely zero tolerance for nonsense. Halloween may bring skeletons on lawns, and suspicious giggling pumpkins, but nothing will distract you from completing your full route.

Yes, we’ll stop for a quick pic if you’re in costume — but only if it doesn’t interfere with your time management.

AQUARIUS (Jan 20 - Feb 18)

Your Aquarius pup is in full of energy this October. One minute they’re inventing a new trick mid-walk, the next they’re zooming in wild circles or barking at literally nothing!

This month, we’re leaning into their eccentric genius. Walks will be flexible, enriched, and fun — with plenty of space for spontaneous experiments (like testing if they can leap over three piles of leaves in a row). There are so many Orangeville parks to explore!

And don’t worry — we’ll be capturing their best October antics on camera, so you don’t miss a single moment!

Aquarius Costume Idea: Mad Scientist

PISCES (Feb 19 - Mar 20)

Pisces pup, you are a dreamer this October. Every walk feels like a spell, every rustling leaf a sign from the spirit world. You’ll pause to stare at the moon, howl dramatically into the fog, and probably try to befriend a crow or two.
