REQUIREMENTS:

Must love animals and enjoy time outdoors

18+ and pass a background check
โ

Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
โ

Live in Orangeville, Ontario
โ

Willing to travel within a 10 km radium of home
โ

Own a smartphone (preferably with unlimited data/texting/calling)
โ

Comfortable handling pets of all shapes and sizes
โ

Comfortable and prepared to walk (and drive) in all weather conditions
โ

Willingness to be trained in other areas (like admin work, meet & greets, and marketing)
โ

Able to commit to position for minimum of six months from hiring date

Available for some midday hours (10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.), 2-5 days a week (we are willing to work with the right candidate if your availability falls outside these hours)

HOURLY/PAY RATE:

Starting wage: 18.25$/hour for new employees for first 3 months, including ~33 hours of training (online and in person)

Scheduled raises at 3 months, 6 months and 1 year of employment (with great performance reviews), with additional annual raises for strong performance and more responsibility.

Opportunities to grow within the company - apply for team lead, team trainer, or admin roles after 3 months with higher pay and added responsibility.

Mileage reimbursed at standard per-kilometre rate

Earn a $10 bonus for every pet sitting client you refer who completes their first visit, and a $30 bonus for every dog walking client you refer who completes their first week of walks.
