Unpredictable schedule: Client needs change weekly, and so may your schedule (no guaranteed hours per day/week).

REQUIREMENTS:
-
Must love animals and enjoy time outdoors
​

18+ and pass a background check
​
-
Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
​
-
Live in Orangeville, Ontario
​
-
Willing to travel within a 10 km radium of home
-
Own a smartphone (preferably with unlimited data/texting/calling)
​

Comfortable handling pets of all shapes and sizes
​
-
Comfortable and prepared to walk (and drive) in all weather conditions
​
-
Willingness to be trained in other areas (like light admin work and marketing) a bonus
​
-
Able to commit to position for minimum of six months from hiring date
​

Available for some midday hours (10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.), 2-5 days a week (we are willing to work with the right candidate if your availability falls outside these hours)
HOURLY/PAY RATE:
-
Starting wage: 18.25$/hour for new employees for first 3 months, including 40 hours of training
​
-
Scheduled raises at 3 months, 6 months and 1 year of employment, with additional annual raises for strong performance
​
-
Mileage reimbursed at standard per-kilometre rate

Clients love to tip a job well done!

Earn a $10 bonus for every pet sitting client you refer who completes their first visit, and a $30 bonus for every dog walking client you refer who completes their first week of walks.
